How to insert a signature image in Google Docs
If you need a visible signature in a Google Doc, save it as a PNG and upload that image into the document. Inkmivo creates the PNG from a typed name; Google Docs handles the placement. The example combines a real Inkmivo export with a document illustration.

Upload the PNG on a computer
- Enter your name in Inkmivo, compare the 20 styles and download the PNG you want.
- Open the Google Doc and place the cursor where the signature should go.
- Choose Insert → Image → Upload from computer, select the saved PNG and open it. Drag a corner handle to resize the image.
Choose how the image sits with text
For a signature below a paragraph, try the default in-line placement first. If you need it beside text, select the image and choose a text-wrapping option. Recheck its position after edits. Google says text wrapping and position controls are unavailable in pageless documents; switch to pages format if you need them.
Draw it inside Docs instead?
Google Docs also has Insert → Drawing → New. Its line menu includes Scribble for drawing with a pointer. That makes a new drawing in the document; uploading a finished PNG is simpler when you want to reuse the same image. Google Docs: images · Google Docs: drawings
Already have a signed image?
You can upload your own scan or photo instead. Remove a visible paper background before inserting if you want the signature to sit cleanly over the page. Inkmivo makes a new image from a typed name; it does not clean scans.
Visible image or verified signature?
An inserted PNG shows handwriting, but the image alone does not prove who added it or provide a verified electronic signature. Follow the recipient’s signing requirements when identity verification is needed.
