How to make a transparent signature PNG
A transparent PNG keeps the ink while letting the page show through. Enter your name in Inkmivo, choose one of 20 handwritten styles and download the image. The example below came from the live generator; its corners contain transparent pixels.

Create and download the PNG
- Enter your first and last name in the generator.
- Compare the 20 styles and open the one you like.
- Choose Download PNG. The file is 1200 × 400 pixels and needs no account.
How can you check the background?
Place the downloaded image over a colored slide or shape. If the color shows around the ink, the background is transparent. Some image viewers display transparency on white, so a white preview alone does not mean the file has a white background.
Why PNG instead of JPEG?
PNG can store an alpha channel for transparent pixels; JPEG has no alpha channel. Exporting this image as JPEG would replace the see-through area with a solid background. W3C PNG · MDN
Already have a paper signature?
This generator creates a new image from a typed name. It does not remove paper from a photograph or scan. To clean up an existing signature, use an image editor and export the result as PNG.
Where can you use the image?
You can place the PNG in a document, slide or email when the recipient accepts a signature image. This file does not verify your identity, issue a certificate or sign a PDF. Check the recipient’s requirements before using it for a formal document.
