Add a handwritten signature image in classic Outlook
Classic Outlook for Windows can put an image in the footer of your emails. Make the handwritten PNG first, then add it in Outlook’s signature editor. Send yourself a test message before you rely on it.

Add your PNG in classic Outlook for Windows
- Type your name in Inkmivo, choose a style and download the transparent 1200 × 400 PNG.
- In classic Outlook, open a new message and choose Signature → Signatures. Create a signature or select one in the list.
- Click the Image button in the signature editor, choose your downloaded PNG and select Insert. If it looks too large, right-click the image, choose Picture → Size and keep Lock aspect ratio selected.
- Choose whether the signature appears on new messages, replies or both. Save with OK, open a fresh message and send yourself a test email.
If the image is missing
Check that the right email account and default signature are selected. In classic Outlook, a newly saved signature is not added to the message that was already open; open another message or insert it manually with Signature. Then inspect the received test email, not just the editor.
Use the image you downloaded
Inkmivo supplies a transparent PNG, not an Outlook-ready email template. Keep a copy of the original, resize only if the image takes too much space in the message, and preserve its proportions. Microsoft’s instructions for the image button and resizing are here: Microsoft Outlook Help
New Outlook and the web use different menus
For new Outlook or Outlook on the web, Microsoft directs you to Settings → Accounts → Signatures. Do not follow the classic Windows menu path above in those versions. The available editing controls can differ; check Microsoft’s instructions for the version you use.
What this signature means
The PNG is a picture in an email footer. It does not verify who sent the message or digitally sign the email. If your recipient requires a verified electronic signature, use the method they ask for.
